After a long wait, the Ghana Football Association on Wednesday launched the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League at its headquarters in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.

As part of the launching, the clubs unveiled their home and away jerseys for the upcoming season.

Representatives of the 16 Premier League clubs as well as the newly appointed Chairman of the Premier League Board, Ashford Tettey Oku, were in attendance.
“The league will surely come on as scheduled. There will be matches across eight centres starting from Saturday and continuing on Sunday,” Oku told reporters.
Defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko will open the season with an away game at Sogakope against Wafa on February 20 while the remaining seven games will take place on February 21.
